Zoé | Lead & Innovation consulting, Hello Tomorrow

Zoé graduated from the one-year master's programme in Corporate Strategy in 2018; now works as an innovation consultant for Hello Tomorrow Asia Pacific (APAC) in Singapore, which specializes in connecting research and innovation players in the deep tech industry in Singapore.

WHAT ARE HELLO TOMORROW'S ACTIVITIES IN SINGAPORE?

Hello Tomorrow APAC (Asia Pacific) is an international organization dedicated to the development of deep tech projects that address major global challenges (since 2011 in Paris) through a comprehensive program of BPI France co-inno.

Hello Tomorrow drives and facilitates collaborations between researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors and policy makers to bring disruptive innovations to life. Our activities in this area are numerous and include: the organization of an annual international startup competition (Global Challenge as well as the APAC Challenge), the organization of an internationally renowned event in Paris (Global Summit) and another one at the regional level in Singapore (APAC Finals): we develop a consulting and training program dedicated to companies and a series of thematic events organized by its hubs present around the world

Today, Hello Tomorrow has established itself as the reference platform for developing, promoting and connecting these deep tech projects to international innovation networks: publishing research and knowledge on the deep tech ecosystem and supporting startups at a very early stage of their project for their commercialization.

WHAT ARE YOUR MISSIONS AT HELLO TOMORROW APAC?

Within the Hello Tomorrow Asia team, we are 6 people and we work in startup mode. Concretely, I help define, develop and build consulting offers for large accounts and companies looking to collaborate with the research community or with startups.

My main mission is to develop innovation consulting services dedicated to large accounts, companies (cosmetic groups or chemical industry), which seek to collaborate with the research community or with startups in the deep tech sector. I also provide trend perspective support over 5 to 10 years to help companies understand the disruptions to come. This involves a whole process of understanding companies. I have to develop the services and also implement them. And since we are a small company, I have to do everything in my job, which is a mix of sales, business development and product development. In my activities the emphasis is also on the community. I participate in the creation of many events, there is about one per month. For example, we will work with research institutes and companies, invite start-ups from our network and bring everyone together around themes that interest them: it could be on the study of disruptive innovations and their impact, on the discovery of the deep tech ecosystem, or on the development of collaborations between companies and scientific entrepreneurs. In short, I play a role of facilitator of collaborations within the Deep Tech ecosystem in Singapore, by federating the community, I do what we call "community building".

ARE THERE ANY RECRUITMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT HELLO TOMORROW APAC?
