- Juliette Galonnier - « Best Dissertation Award » 2018 ASA

Juliette Galonnier received this prestigious award for her thesis on “Choosing Faith and Facing Race: Converting to Islam in France and the United States” defended in June 2017 as part of a joint PhD in Sociology from Sciences Po and Northwestern University (Chicago).
Her research had already been awarded twice before: In 2014 Juliette received the Robert F. Winch award from the department of sociology at Northwestern University for her “second year paper”, and in 2015 she received the "Presidential Fellowship", the most prestigious scholarship awarded by Northwestern University (Chicago).
Juliette is currently a postdoc at INED involved in the "Global Race" project (ANR).
