Breakfast with Latham & Watkins: practicing as an arbitration lawyer toda
L'Association des Juristes de Sciences Po is delighted to invite you to a breakfast with the international arbitration practice of Latham & Watkins, run by Esperanza Barron Baratech, along with John Adam, Aija Lejniece, Nora Fredstie, and Diego Romero. This event will be held in English and will take place on Wednesday 11th October at 9:30 am at Latham & Watkins’ office.
Esperanza Barron Baratech is an associate in the firm’s International Arbitration Practice. She represents companies, states, and state-owned entities in high-stakes, complex international disputes. As such, Ms. Barrón Baratech has acted in international arbitrations, both institutional and ad hoc, with a particular focus on investment, energy, oil and gas, and construction. She is a lawyer at the Paris Bar.
John Adam is a counsel in the firm’s International Arbitration Practice. He has extensive experience in complex international commercial and investor-State arbitrations under the aegis of the principal arbitration rules. He regularly handles disputes under a range of bilateral and multilateral investment treaties and focuses on energy, oil and gas, and construction and technology disputes. He is a qualified England and Wales barrister, and is a qualified lawyer in France and in Spain.
