Thierry Mayer

Thierry MAYER is Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at Sciences Po. He is also a a Research Fellow in the International Trade / Regional Economics programme at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

His research is primarily focused on economic geography, trade theory and empirics as well as on foreign direct investment determinants. He also published theoretical and empirical analysis of locations choices by multinational firms, studying in particular the extent and determinants of agglomeration patterns. 

He will present a paper, joint with Vanessa ALVIAREZ and Keith HEAD, at the next Friday Seminar held exceptionally on THURSDAY, April 30th at 1 PM, via Zoom, on the theme:
