Jaap ABBRING is Full Professor of Econometrics at Tilburg University. He is also a Research Fellow at the International Association of Applied Economics (IAAE) and at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His editorial activities include managing The Econometrics Journal and he is the Associate Editor of Econometrica.

He studies and teaches the theory, computation, and econometrics of dynamic choices and games. In the Structural Econometrics Group at Tilburg, he works with other economists interested in structural econometrics, computational economics, and their applications.
