Clément IMBERT is Associate Professor at the University of Warwick. He is also a Full Member of the European Development Network (EUDN) and a Research Affiliate at the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD), the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Abdul Latif Jameel - Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). Prior to joining Warwick, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Nuffield College of Oxford University.
His research interests are in development, labour, and public economics as well as political economy. His current research is on internal migration, public employment and social programs both in developing and developed countries. He was a Becker-Friedman Fellow at the University of Chicago in 2019 and was awarded the AMID/LSE Scholarship in 2011. He has been awarded a number of grants for his research.

Bruno STRULOVICI is Professor of Economics at Northwestern University.He is also an Economic Theory Fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory and a Fellow of the Econometric Society. Among his editorial duties, he is a Co-Editor of Theoretical Economics, an Associate Editor of Econometrica, of the American Economic Review and of the Journal of Economic Theory.
He is an economic theorist whose research interests include dynamic and collective decision making, comparative statics, time inconsistency, law and economics, and contract theory. He was the recipient of a Sloan Foundation Research Fellowship and a National Science Foundation Early Career Development award.

Clément DE CHAISEMARTIN is Professor of Economics at the Department since this Fall. He is an Associate Professor at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), currently on leave. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a JPAL Affiliate.
His research interests focus on econometric methods for policy evaluation, and on the economics of education.

Ariane SALEM is a Visiting PhD Candidate in Economics from the University of Geneva, working on a thesis entitled Who Owns the Land? Essays on Land Distribution and its Socio-Economic Outcomes, under the supervision of Mathieu COUTTENIER.
Her research interests include development, economic history, political economics, agriculture and resource economics, as well as urban geography.

Philine WIDMER is a Visiting PhD Candidate at PSE from University of Saint Gallen, working on a thesis under the supervision of Roland HODLER.
Her research covers topics in political, media, and development economics. She is particularly interested in bringing natural language processing techniques to applied economics research.
