Stefanie J Huber

Stefanie J. HUBER is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Amsterdam, and a Tinbergen Research Fellow. She was awarded her PhD in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University in June 2017 (supervised by Jordi Galí).

Her research interests are in macroeconomics, housing markets, macro-finance, behavioural finance, and household finance.

Raquel Fernandez

Raquel FERNÁNDEZ is the Julius Silver, Roslyn S. Silver and Enid Silver Winslow Professor of Economics at New York University (NYU). She is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), at IZA, and at BREAD. She is a Fellow of the Econometric Society. In 2022 she became the Research Director of the Research Institute for Development, Growth & Economics (RIDGE) Gender Inequality Group and RIDGE Board Member. Among her editorial duties, she is Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Economic Literature and Associate Editor of Economic Development and Cultural Change.

Her research focuses on international economics, education and income distribution, and political economy. She is internationally admired for her groundbreaking work on the interplay of culture and economics, notably through her seminal paper (joint with Alessandra Fogli) Culture: An Empirical Investigation of Beliefs, Work, and Fertility, which established a methodology for separating the influence of culture from the influence of institutions. It was a methodology that many followed, and the paper is a foundational text in the subfield of economics and culture.

Colin Stewart

Colin STEWART is Visiting Faculty member of the Paris School of Economics (PSE), on leave from the University of Toronto where he is Professor of Economics at Associate Chair of Graduate Studies at the Department of Economics. 

His main research interests are in Microeconomic Theory and Behavioural Economics.
