The medialab is a digital laboratory which focuses on new means of communication and data production generated by new information and communication technologies; hence the name “Medialab.”
Dedicated to the social sciences, the Medialab is a hub of resources and skills as well as a place of experimentation, observation and research.
The Medialab has four main missions:
- increase awareness of digital technologies
- assist research projects that use digital technology
- develop new methods and digital tools
- lead a network of public or private partners
Although mainly catering for Sciences Po’s academic community, students are by no means excluded: Ph.D. candidates participate in the research programs developed by the Medialab and Sciences Po students take part in its educational experiments.
