Criminal governance in comparative perspective

A project supported by the Alliance Program

Project leaders: Eduardo Moncada (Barnard College, New York), Laurent Fourchard and Laurent Gayer

The partners will organize a conference bringing together a diverse group of junior and senior scholars from Columbia University, Sciences Po, and other universities from across the world to advance three objectives. First, it will advance new theoretical frameworks for the study of criminal governance. Second, the conference will introduce a novel comparative lens into an area of research largely reliant on single cases studies. And third, the papers presented at the conference will serve as the basis for a peer-reviewed publication in the form of either an edited volume or a special issue of an academic journal.research laboratory in the humanities and social sciences.
