Yasmin Shearmur obtained her B.A. in Political Science and Middle Eastern Languages from McGill University (Montreal) in 2013. After working in the private sector in Paris, she returned to academia, obtaining her MPhil in History from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2017. She is currently completing her PhD at Cambridge.

 Research interests

Comparative immigration history ; immigration policy ; modern British history ; modern French history ; multiculturalism ; EU integration.
