SkazlicIvana Skazlić is a PhD student at the University of Vienna and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna within an Innovative Training Network 'The Post-Crisis Legitimacy of the European Union (PLATO)' under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions. Her PhD project explores legitimacy and effectiveness of the European Semester in the post-crisis period and investigates to what extent a greater involvement of national parliaments in the European Semester can contribute to achieving the twin goals of efficient policy implementation and democratic legitimacy.

She holds two Master’s Degrees in the field of European and International Studies (from the Centre International de Formation Européenne -CIFE, Nice) and Political Science (from the University of Zagreb). Additionally, she obtained the qualifications as Policy Officer in European and International organizations and EU Funds Project Manager.
