Ivana Skazlic is a PhD student at the University of Vienna and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna within an Innovative Training Network 'The Post-Crisis Legitimacy of the European Union (PLATO)' under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions. Her PhD project explores legitimacy of the European Semester in the post-crisis period and investigates to what extent and how well national parliaments contribute to key standards of legitimacy in following this procedure.

She holds two Master’s Degrees in the field of European and International Studies (from the Centre International de Formation Européenne -CIFE, Nice) and Political Science (from the University of Zagreb). Additionally, she obtained the qualifications as the Policy Officer in European and International organizations and the EU Funds Project Manager.
