Exhibition: Building Sciences Po (Paris, 1872-2017)

The Library tells the real estate history of Sciences Po and presents the architectural project for the new campus in the Hotel de l’Artillerie

On January 11, the winning architectural project for the campus to come in the Hotel de l’Artillerie was unveiled. In order to understand how the acquisition of this prestigious mansion fits in the real estate history of Sciences Po since its origins, the library takes you into a journey through the century that has shaped the campus of Sciences Po in the heart of the Saint Germain neighborhood around the unchanging landmark of 27, rue Saint Guillaume.

With the help of Marie Scot, researcher at the Centre for History at Sciences Po, Sylvaine Detchemendy, librarian and the Archives Mission, the library has selected old photographs to illustrate how Sciences Po has grown in the heart of the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Views of the archtectural project of the future Sciences Po campus at the Artillerie complete the exhibit.

Visit the exhibition from January 11th to March 7th at Sciences Po Library, 27 rue Saint-Guillaume.
