Mario Del Pero is a Professor of International History at the Centre d’Histoire of Sciences Po. A leading scholar of United States history and foreign policy, his research explores the global projection of American power and its ideological underpinnings. He is the author of numerous books and scholarly articles on U.S. foreign relations and transatlantic dynamics. In addition to his academic work, Del Pero contributes regularly to newspapers such as Il Domani, Il Giornale di Brescia, and The Guardian, offering historical perspective on current international affairs.
David Cadier a Senior Research Fellow in European security at the Institute for Strategic Research (IRSEM). He is also an Associate Researcher at Sciences Po’s Centre for International Studies (CERI), and he teaches International Relations at the College of Europe and Sciences Po. His research focuses on the foreign policies of EU member states, European and transatlantic policies towards Russia and Ukraine, and the impact of populism on international affairs. He published several academic and policy articles on these topics and recently co-edited the Handbook of Populism and Foreign Policy (Routledge, 2025).
