This event is a pioneer student initiative that will gather Brazilian and international personalities, experts, and representatives from international organizations to discuss inequalities in Brazil within the lens of different axes. This year, the Conférence Pour le Brésil has as its main theme "Brazil in the world: Pathways to democratic consolidation".

The event will take place on April 1st and 2nd with panels, debates and interventions by special guests taking place at Amphitheatre Jacques Chapsal and broadcast in Pour le Brésil's Youtube channel. To attend it in person, please register through this link: bit.ly/ConfPourLeBresil

The sessions of this 3rd edition will be dedicated to address solutions for the political future of the country, bearing in mind the electoral year in Brazil. Our goal is to promote fruitful exchanges and discussions on how to overcome the main political, economic, and social issues towards more sustainable and inclusive development in Brazil during these challenging times.

Thus far, we already have the confirmation of more than 20 speakers, including Brazil's former Minister of Environment Izabella Texeira, the Brazilian Ambassador Carlos Márcio Cozendey, the Brazilian former congressman Jean Wyllys; indigenous leaders, such as Sônia Guajajara (ABIB) and Txai Suruí; UNESCO's Head of the Section for Freedom of Expression and Safety of Journalists, Guilherme Godoi; the French decolonial feminist author Françoise Vergès; Sciences Po's researchers, such as Gaspard Estrada and Olivier Dabène (OPALC), and many others.

In Pour le Brésil's website, you will be able to find the whole schedule of the Conference.

We invite you to participate and engage in our event!
