Admissions to a Ph.D

Direct admission to a PhD for the 2024 intake

Applicants who already hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent), whether from France or abroad, and wish to enter a Sciences Po doctoral programme directly at the PhD level must submit their application on the Sciences Po admissions portail.

The admissions calendar for the 2024 intake will be announced shortly.

Please note

For candidates who do not have the required diplomas to enter directly into the first year of the thesis, please consult the admission procedures for the master programmes offered by the School of Research.

Note: Sciences Po undergraduates who wish to apply to a School of Research Master’s programme must submit the dedicated application designated for them.
