Berkeley/Sciences Po Economics Award

This scholarship allows one undergraduate student from Sciences Po to spend one academic year at University of California – Berkeley studying economics. The award covers full tuition for the program and provides a small living stipend. This exchange fulfills Sciences Po’s year abroad requirement.

In 2011, the Foundation donated $28,000 to finance awards for Paul Duan and Nicolas Filippi, who attended University of California – Berkeley during the 2011-12 academic year. In 2012, Arthur Magnes was awarded $15,000 as a second year cum laude honors student. He attended UC – Berkeley during the 2012-13 academic year.

Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs

Thanks to a grant from the Carnegie Corporation in 2011, the Foundation provided funding for 23 Sciences Po students enrolled in PSIA to attend a seminar in New York City, entitled UN Outreach Week, in February 2011. The purpose of this conference was to offer graduate students the opportunity to learn from actors in the field of international affairs and work with other students as well (most notably those at Columbia University). The five-day program was a collaborative arena of idea sharing and networking among future colleagues in the field.

Sciences Po Model United Nations

In 2011, the Foundation funded Sciences Po’s Model UN delegation in order to help 26 students to participate. The Sciences Po delegation was awarded the prize of Distinguished Delegation for the quality of its diplomatic representation. Additionally, Sciences Po delegates were awarded individual distinctions for their outstanding diplomacy in four committees.
