Following every student, in a personalized way

Since their arrival at the Master European Affairs, students are accompanied in the construction of their professional project.

During the first year, the MAE team follows every student, in a personalized way, in their construction of the professional project, accompanying, for example, in the reflection and construction of the gap year, for those who wish to mature a professional experience.

Discover the diversity of jobs in the European affairs

During the first semester they can attend the workshop "Métiers de l'Europe", lead by the MAE team and the Career Service of Sciences Po. The workshop allows the students to discover the diversity of jobs in the European affairs and to meet every week 3 to 4 professionals coming from different sectors (public, private, research, politics, associations…), some of them who graduated from the Master.

Within the framework of this workshop, every student attends also a workshop on how to draft a CV in English and French. This step is essential to start preparing the internship search, which is often helped by the participants to the workshop "Métiers de l'Europe".

Study trip: Brussels and Luxembourg

During second semester, students leave for a study trip to Brussels and Luxembourg, in continuity with the workshop "Métiers de l'Europe", but in situ. In fact, students meet the main actors of European affairs within their professional environment.

This one week trip enables a full immersion of a group of students of the Master.

The study trip ends with the participation of students to the EU Job Fair, organized by the Career Service of Sciences Po and that constitutes an important moment in the search for an internship, for the summer, for an eventual gap year or for the fourth semester.

The fourth semester internship

During the third semester, a meeting led by the MAE team and the Career Service of Sciences Po is specifically dedicated to the search for an internship.

Recruiters for the fourth semester internship include European Commission, European Parliament, Robert Schuman Foundation, Airbus, Apco Worldwide, Kraft foods, Areva, Veolia, Accenture (in French), Bundestag, etc.

The last meeting of the MAE students is called « A live after Sciences Po and it is also co-organized together with the Career Service of Sciences Po.
