Ghassan Salamé is Emeritus Professor of International Relations at Sciences Po and the founding Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). Ghassan Salamé is the Special Representative and Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya, since June 2017.

Ghassan Salamé was Minister of Culture in Lebanon (2000-2003). He was Political Advisor to the UN Mission in Iraq (2003) and Senior Advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General (2003-2007, 2012).
