The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Sciences Po strengthen their cooperation

The EIB and Sciences Po signed a 5-year agreement January 30th "to strengthen and develop their cooperation in areas of common interest such as research, education and vocational training."

The agreement reinforces pre-existing cooperation between the EIB and Sciences Po - and notably its Department of Economics: EIB experts regularly give lectures as part of the curriculum of the Department's economics, finance and business programmes.

More ambitiously, the agreement will "in the area of research, particularly in relation to economics (allow) the two insitutions to work together to support work on topics of common interest... and on emerging issues such as big data, smart cities and crowdfunding."

The Department's students will also enjoy "easier access to traineeship and employment offers" under the EIB's Graduate Recruitment and Development (GRAD) Programme.
