Bio :

Julien Blasco is a statistician-economist at the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), where his work focuses on monetary inequality, poverty, material deprivation and the distribution of wealth and income across time, in France and in Europe. At LIEPP, he is interested in the evaluation of socio-fiscal policies and redistribution. He was an intern at LIEPP during the summer of 2017, then joined LIEPP as a Junior Policy Fellow in July 2018. His current project aims at evaluating the anti-redistributive impact of indirect taxes in a cross-country perspective.

He is a graduate of ENSTA ParisTech and ENSAE ParisTech, and completed an MSc. at the London School of Economics and at Ecole Polytechnique.
