Olivier Gergaud is Professor of Economics at KEDGE Business School and affiliated researcher at the LIEPP of Sciences Po. He obtained a PhD from the University of Reims in 2000 for a thesis awarded by the French Association of Economic Science (AFSE). Olivier also holds a habilitation to direct research obtained at Sciences Po in 2009. Olivier's work covers many areas of applied economics but also marketing and CSR. He was visiting professor in numerous universities. Olivier has also received several honorary awards such as the Duncan Black Prize for the best paper published in Public Choice by a senior researcher in 2019 and the President's Award at the 12th International Conference of the Association for Cultural Economics International (ACEI). He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Wine Economics and the Journal of Prediction Markets.

Olivier is the author of nearly 30 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Economic Journal, Economic Inquiry, Journal of Portfolio Management, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Family Business Review, Journal of Sports Economics, Journal of Wine Economics, Journal of Cultural Economics, etc.
