Bio :

Research Director at CERI since 2006, Daniel Sabbagh is a graduate of the University of Paris 3 (English, German and French literature) and of Sciences Po (comparative politics).Research Director at CERI since 2006, Daniel Sabbagh is a graduate of the University of Paris 3 (English, German and French literature) and of Sciences Po (comparative politics).

Holds degrees in English, German, and French literature from the University of Paris III, a degree in comparative politics and a Ph.D (2000) from Sciences Po. Winner of the François Furet doctoral dissertation prize (2004) for his work L'Egalité par le droit : les paradoxes de la discrimination positive aux Etats-Unis combining political theory, sociology of law and the history of ideas (subsequently published and translated into English in 2007). 

 

Former Fulbright scholar and fellow of the Chancellerie des universités de Paris. Former research assistant atYale University (1996-1997); visiting fellow at the Remarque Institute, New York University; and visiting professor at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University in 2006. Co-editor-in-chief of Critique internationale (2003- 2006). Co-leader of the research group Anti-discrimination policies (with Gwénaële Calvès); co-president of the scientific committee of the Equal Opportunity Program of the French-American Foundation
