The Vincent Wright and Alfred Grosser Chairs

The Vincent Wright and Alfred Grosser Chairs were established to promote academic and scientific exchanges between France and the rest of Europe. They bring European researchers to Sciences Po and encourage comparative research on European themes.

Each year, the Vincent Wright Chair hosts a visiting scholar from a British university at Sciences Po.

The Alfred Grosser Chair hosts two visiting scholars from German universities at Sciences Po each year.

OxPo

Formerly known as the Oxford Sciences Po programme, OxPo brings together two of the foremost universities in the world in the field of social sciences. It is a meeting point for scholars at both institutions with the objective of fostering and stimulating joint scientific projects. It provides a platform for the comparative analysis of the evolution of political systems and societies, in Europe and beyond. The group coordinates comparative research projects that contribute toward this goal and it facilitates academic and student exchanges between the two universities.

The Cambridge-Sciences Po Research Cooperation Framework

The Cambridge-Sciences Po Research Cooperation Framework, agreed in 2017, formalizes and strengthens an already strong partnership. The aims of the framework are to develop research links in disciplines including Politics, History and Public Policy, with a strong expectation that the collaboration will develop to include other areas of mutual interest. Both parties have committed to the provision of matched funds to enable academic workshops and symposia, and to pay for travel grants, short-term research visits, and visiting professorships at both Sciences Po and Cambridge. Other bilateral activities within its scope include the encouragement of student mobility, and the creation of Teaching Fellowships for Cambridge PhD students at Sciences Po.

Exchange programme with LUISS University in Rome

As part of Franco-Italian academic cooperation in the social sciences, LUISS University in Rome and Sciences Po have signed a cooperation agreement for faculty exchanges. The agreement provides for one Sciences Po professor to be invited to LUISS in Rome each year.

Erasmus+ programme

The Erasmus+ programme supports faculty mobility in Europe for stays of one to six weeks. These grants contribute to accommodation and travel costs, based on proof of expenditure.
