The Political Science Department of Sciences Po coordinates all parts of the discipline (Comparative politics, International relations, Political theory, Political Sociology and Public Policies) as regards teaching and academic staff recruitment.

It is the privileged partner of the governing board of Sciences Po, especially for defining the place and organisation of political science courses in the College Universitaire (Undergraduate programme) and in the Master programs of Sciences Po.

The Department is also partner for the development of the PhD program in political science, jointly with the Doctoral School and the different research laboratories concerned. Last it contributes, in association with The International Affairs Division (DAIE) to the international promotion of Sciences Po’s Political Science courses and training.
