On 29 March, Italian author Roberto Saviano was at Sciences Po for the Italissimo festival to talk about literature, ethics and philosophy. Ten years after the publication of his best-seller Gomorra, Roberto Saviano invited students to reflect on the weight of words in the current era of immediacy and social networks. He also insisted on the need for Europe to adjust the rules of the economic game if it wants to combat organised crime. Watch the video.

Sciences Po graduates: highly sought after

The 2016 survey on the employment of recent Sciences Po graduates confirms that a diploma from one of Sciences Po’s graduate schools remains a strong asset for quickly entering the workforce. Just one year following their graduation in June 2015, the overall rate of employment was 95.7%, a slight increase from the year before and in line with the upward trend of the past few years. Financial Aid for Your Housing

Financial Aid for Your Housing

Both French and international students can receive financial aid from the CAF (Caisse d'Allocations Familiales) for their housing. Students can receive this benefit should they choose to rent an apartment (furnished or unfurnished), stay in a student residence or have another type of valid, legal lease. Moreover, the rental agreement must be made out in the student’s name and they cannot be a relative of the property owner.
