A new program initiative

on Private International Law as Global Governance

by Sciences Po and the Harvard Law Schools

Private International Law as Global Governance - PILAGG is a Research Program which aims to draw the attention about the role that private international law should play in current times in order to contribute to global governance. It was firstly presented at the 2011 IGLP Workshop (Harvard Law School). Various workshops, open to the public and held at Sciences-Po Law School (Paris) are organised throughout 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. A full-day meeting will be held on May 11th to evaluate its achievements and to identify new avenues to explore. Papers and other materials produced will be published both, on this blog and in books.
