Sciences Po Expertise et Conseil is a research consultancy set up by Sciences Po. It works with researchers to provide tailor-made services in response to the specific needs of its clientele, and in this way contributes to the promotion of social sciences research. It draws on the expertise of the different research centres for which Sciences Po is renowned, and that of its doctoral school and research chairs.

Sciences Po Expertise et Conseil, created mid-2005, contributes to the school's rich tradition of successful initiatives and innovation. Its activity consists of:

• assembling all the relevant data – contextual data primarily – to analyse the determining factors of a complex situation, the related risks and subsequent developments
• identifying trends likely to generate development opportunities
• contributing to the decision-making process.
