Student Unions

This year, four student unions are represented at Sciences Po: UNEF, MéT (Mouvement des étudiants), InterZaide-Fac Verte and the Confédération étudiante (Cé).

They participate actively in the governance of Sciences Po by sitting on a number of boards:

  • 8 seats on the Board of Management
  • 8 seats on the Joint Committee
  • 6 seats on the Research Council
  • 5 seats on the Doctoral School Board

They also participate in the commissions, particularly as concerns social assistance, and in working groups that formulate the different points submitted to the Board of Management and the Joint Committee.

Below is a list of union representation on the different boards and committees, following the February 2011 elections:

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT 

UNEF: 54.31% of votes, 5 elected

MéT: 22.13 % of votes, 2 elected

: 13.92% of votes, 1 elected

InterZaide-Fac Verte: 9.64% of votes

 

The student Vice-President on the Board of Management is an elected UNEF member, Alexandre Fleuret.

 

JOINT COMMITTEE 

UNEF: 53.53% of votes, 4 elected

Mét: 22.93% of votes, 2 elected

: 12.13% of votes, 1 elected

InterZaide-Fac Verte: 11.42% of votes, 1 elected


The student President on the Joint Committee is an elected UNEF member, Raphaëlle Remy-Leleu.

 

RESEARCH COUNCIL 

UNEF: 63.78% of votes, 4 elected

MéT: 13.78% of votes, 1 elected

: 22.45% of votes, 1 elected

 

DOCTORAL SCHOOL BOARD

 5 elected UNEF members.
