Student services

To help students achieve the greatest possible success in their studies

Share/Bookmark Share

The academic success of students is the central concern of all Sciences Po staff:  we put the following resources at their disposal right throughout the year and particularly at the start of the academic year:

  • Le pôle info logement  (housing information service) offers practical information on rental formalities, accommodation offers and housing grants, etc.
  • Le pôle handicap (disability service) because disabled students have had to overcome more difficulties than others to continue in higher education.
  • Le pôle bourses (bursary service) implements Sciences Po's social policy (Sciences Po supplementary bursary, European bursaries, mobility grants).

Throughout the year, the pôle aide sociale (social assistance service) welcomes students who wish to discuss one-off problems, find a listening ear or be directed towards other services, if necessary.

Employment

Sciences Po Avenir is the internship, professional orientation and first job office set up to serve Sciences Po students.

Young graduates can apply to Sciences Po Avenir for:

  • assistance in finding a job
  • introduction to recruitment tools and techniques

Sciences Po Avenir offers a wide range of workshops: Presenting yourself in two minutes | Job search techniques | Help with finding a foreign internship | Getting a job in the UK | Drafting your CV in English | Networking | How to make your job search more effective | Job interview simulations
