Tatiana Coutto is a postdoctoral fellow at Vienna School of International Studies (Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, DA. She works on a project entitled Analyzing European Communication Strategy, under the supervision of Professor Patrick Müller.

Previously, Tatiana Coutto joined the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics as a Marie Sklodowska Curie fellow in October 2019. Her work focuses on the relationship between media content and framing, and attitudes towards European integration. Her project (MEDPOL) uses a mixed methods approach to analyze the influence of the media on public opinion (and vice-versa) in Portugal, Spain, Italy and France. She is also interested in political polarization and foreign policy effects of “populism”. Tatiana Coutto holds a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence
