Visiting PhD Candidate
I studied Architecture at Roma Tre University (2006-2012), from which I earned a BA in Architecture followed by a MSc in Urban Planning. After a six months Erasmus stay in Vienna in 2011, I wrote my thesis in Urban Policies, with Prof. Marco Cremaschi, about the strategies of planning and development of the Austrian capital, from the 90s till the 2010, with a focus on six large development projects realised in those years. After the graduation, I worked for six months in an architecture studio in Foligno, my hometown, on urban regeneration masterplans and restoration projects. Since October 2013 I am enrolled at GSSI Cities Doctoral Programme in Urban Studies, in LAquila. My actual research concerns the strategic planning and development discourses in contemporary European Cities.
Research interests
Urban scale policies, European planning paradigms, urban spatial strategic planning and governance, cities trajectories and planning discourses.
