Kate Kyunghye Kwak

Kate Kyunghye Kwak is originally from South Korea. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in urban planning at HongIk University in Seoul and worked as an urban planner for international projects, especially for ODA projects for 2 years. She holds a master’s degree of urban planning from the Sorbonne University. Interested in urban transformation, migration, and in urban regeneration, her undergraduate thesis analyzed the immigration and the transformation of socio-spatial landscapes in cities with comparative studies of four ethnic districts in Seoul. She is now working on the project “French in London, British in Paris”.
