How to book and use Paris campus group study rooms.

There are 4 rooms available for group study in the library of the Paris campus, at 27 rue Saint Guillaume.

Rooms are available for use by Sciences Po students only.

How to reserve : guidelines

Reserving a room is very simple ! Connect to the application for online reservation by following these 3 steps :

1 - Choose a time slot

You can reserve up to 3 weeks in advance.

Click on the time slot, then log in to your Sciences Po account.

2 - Fill out a reservation request

For your reservation to be approved and confirmed, please provide the following information :

  • The name or alias of your group (pseudo)
  • A mobile phone number so that you can be reached in case of unanticipated closure
  • The number of persons in your group (minimum of at least 3 participants)
  • Your level of studies.

You can only reserve 1 time slot per week.

For groups that exceed  6 or 8 people according to the room capacity :
You have to reserve two side by side rooms. Reservations can be made only by phone01 45 49 53 00 or 01 45 49 56 93 or at the library’s front desk. Reservation must be done at least 48 hours in advance. Library staff will prepare the rooms prior to your arrival to accommodate up to 12 persons (1st floor room) or 16 persons (4th floor room).

3 - Report to the front desk before entering the study room

  • Check in with a library staff member at the front desk, on the ground floor at 27 rue Saint Guillaume, with your student card to confirm your arrival. 
  • Attention: Failure to do so, or in the event of lateness of more than 20mn, your reservation will be cancelled..

Study room policies

Drinking, eating and smoking are strictly prohibited in the study rooms. Closed water bottles are allowed.

When finished, please leave the study room in the condition in which you found it!

Failure to respect these policies will result in your access privileges being revoked.

Cables

Equipment for connecting a computer to the TV screen is available for your to borrow. See the front desk on the ground floor at 27 rue Saint-Guillaume, before entering the study room.

About timeslots

Monday through Saturday, 4 to 6 time slots are available every day for each of the study rooms. The time slots are aligned with class times and may vary according to the opening hours of the library at 27 rue Saint Guillaume.

During vacation periods, you can reserve or freely use available study rooms.
