Books-Sciences Po book review award 2018 - Call for submissions!

Sciences Po and the magazine Books have teamed up to launch this award open to undergraduate students from all campuses. This award will be attributed to a review of a work from the field of social sciences, published in a language other than French (and not yet translated into French).

Now in its fifth year, this award presented by Sciences Po and the magazine Books is open to undergraduate students from all campuses, including students who are currently abroad for their 3rd year of studies as well as exchange students.
Presided by a distinguished panel of judges, the award is attributed to a review of a recent book from the field of social sciences. The chosen work must have been published in a language other than French (and not yet translated into French).

Two prizes are to be won, one for the best article written in English, the other for the best article in French. The articles should take the form of essays of around 2 000 words, proposing a critical analysis inspired by the chosen work, based on the example of articles previously published in Books.
Articles should be sent to prix@books.fr by 30th November 2018 at the latest.
